A Tip for Foiling Keyloggers

Posted on our Guild Forum:

A top “avoiding keyloggers” tip going around at the moment is, don’t type your password from start to finish in one go. Type the second half first, then use the *mouse* to re-position the cursor at the start of the password field.

So using “password” as the example, type “word”, mouse-move the cursor to the start and type “pass”. Keyloggers, in theory, can’t track where you move the cursor to, so will register that you typed “wordpass”.
